BABS’LAB

For over two decades, Barbara Colaciello has written, directed, produced, and performed socially engaged theater that contributes to vital conversations in the Jacksonville community. Her studio, BABS’LAB, located at the CoRK Arts District North, is a place for experimentation, training, and performance, a place where the community comes together to witness work that uplifts, breaks barriers, and crosses lines. Through the practice of storytelling, she engages performers and audiences in examining complex themes in much more nuanced ways than our local and national discourses often allow. Her company Improv to the Rescue specializes in experiential and creative learning to enhance leadership and communication skills through workshops, classes, and coaching. Museum of science and History

Jacksonville’s Museum of Science & History makes science, history and innovation accessible for all! Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville

The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville promotes the discovery, knowledge and advancement of the art, artists and ideas of our time. MOCA Jacksonville, a private nonprofit visual arts educational institution and cultural institute of the University of North Florida, serves the community and its visitors through exhibitions, collections, educational programs and publications designed to enhance an understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art with particular emphasis on works created from 1960 to the present. Olive My Pickle, founded in 2010, makes and sells fermented pickles, kraut, kimchi and olives. Beginning at area farmer’s market, selling pickles and olive bulk-style out of barrels at the farmer’s markets, the company has expanded to sell its products at area natural food stores like Native Sun and today they sell online and on Amazon.
